Materials Quality

Although everything fit well in the Cayenne, we were let down by some of the interior materials. For example, the controls for the suspension modes and other painted plastic interior trim should be real metal in our opinion, and some of the other plastics felt downgrade, especially the cheap-o vinyl sun visors. None of us were thrilled with the elephant hide texture on the softly padded dash and door tops. Otherwise things are pretty good here, with soft touch plastic where it should be, high quality hard plastics, thick carpet and a mesh headliner.
